My ex girlfriend was mad about horse racing – which pretty much made me mad about horse racing – either that or exit the relationship and start over – but hey, horse racing – harmless bit of fun – I can go along with this.
At the same time I decided to start my own company – but you know how hard it can be coming up with a name – should it mean something – such as latin for man with big brain, or daft like Rabid Dog – but was shouted down by girlfriend for being a sicko – then came the Coral Eclipse horse race and behold the name Eclipse – so not as many thought something to do with the solar system – but a humble race.

Well twenty years (nearly) and still going strong (which is more than can be said for girlfriend) lasted about six months after starting Eclipse and then decided to call it a day – funny enough – she didn’t see much of me – always working – so agreed to go our separate ways – besides – never was really into all that horse racing malarky anyway!
